Are there occasions when someone can legally use my logo or branding?

January 7, 2020

Yes. Trademark “ownership” is not absolute. A trademark belonging to another person or company can be used if it’s:

  • For informational or editorial purposes to identify specific products and services, or
  • part of an accurate comparative product statement (a review, etc.)
